Today we are enjoying freezing rain in the Northeast, which keeps me housebound these days.
When I can’t get out to walk, I “ride” my Cubii under my desk. I got one after my stroke to rebuild my strength before I could walk again. Even though it is designed for office workers – sitting is the new smoking – generation….it’s actually kind of fun for the Medicare generation with reduced mobility too:)

Sometimes I take Virtual Bike Rides on You Tube. There are lots to choose from in many different countries with music and beautiful vistas. There are rides through Alps and Deserts and along the water. Just type -virtual bike tour -into your search bar. The Amalfi Coast is probably my favorite.

Other days, I binge watch On the Road with Steve Hartman – you can find them on Tik Tok or the CBS News web site. If you aren’t familiar with them, they are weekly stories from across the U.S. of mostly everyday people being kind or appreciated and doing the right thing. Over 30,000 teachers shares these stories with their students to teach character and compassion. I just love them.

If, like me, you tear up at happy moments, like in airports watching travelers meet their loved ones – You will want to Have a Hanky Handy:)
