Easy DIY Foaming Soap for dry hands- 2 minute project

Anyone can make their own moisturizing foaming soap with a foaming soap dispenser. You can recycle one you already have or purchase empty ones to fill- they come in ceramic, glass and plastic and many sizes

Foaming soap is mostly water with 2 tablespoons of soap and the pump which pumps air into the mixture as it dispenses. The magic is in the pump. Below are links to some to try.

These are great to have in your bag for public restrooms… I keep mine in a ziplock, with a handkerchief to dry my hands with.

You fill your container with water – distilled if you prefer – leaving room at the top for the pump and add 2 tablespoons of Castile soap 1 teaspoon of Shea Oil and Voila – you’re done! This is gentle enough to be a face wash too.

You can also add 10 drops of essential oil, if you want.

You can try lavender or thieves oil which are known for their antibacterial properties…. Or any scent you like. Jasmine is one of my favorites.

Thieves oil is a blend of clove, Rosemary, cinnamon, lemon and eucalyptus oils that are attributed to bubonic plague thieves in the 16th century who went around robbing the sick and dying with bandanas around their faces that were treated with the blend.

Your hands will be soft without using hand cream and your cuticles will be happy too.
